EEUMC'S TOMATO ART KIDFEST 2011

 

Again this year, children of all ages are invited to the Tomato Art KIDFEST, a celebration of community fun just for kids (and their families) during the 8^th Annual Tomato Art Fest in East Nashville.

 

Kidfest, sponsored for the sixth year by East End United Methodist Church, will take place in the park at the corner of 12^th and Holly Street from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 13^th. FREE activities will include inflatable fun with a water slide and bounce houses, FREE balloons, FREE “tomato head” hair painting and a FREE kid’s craft by our local Fairytales Bookstore. New to this year’s KIDFEST, Explorastory, a storytelling guild from Hendersonville, will be performing Tomato Tales from 10:30 am – 11:30 am and Leslie’s Music Together will be giving demonstrations of the family music classes they now offer in East Nashville at 11:30 am.

 

Our local Boy Scout Troop 3 will also be back this year selling concessions.
